Write the text of your article here! 2425 Nottingham Airport Squadron Air Training Corps is a thriving, exciting, friendly squadron based at Nottingham Airport Tollerton, UK. The ATC is for girls and boys of 13 years old an over. On parade nights most of our activities take place in our own H.Q. building or the surrounding area. Our squadron motto is ‘Nulli Secundus,’ Latin for “Second to None’ something we take very seriously – we always aim to win! We are very successful at sports and other activities and have many cadets representing Wing, Region and even the Corps.

We meet on Monday and Thursday evenings between 6.45pm and 9.30pm.

We are always looking for new recruits. If you are in the 13-17 age group you may join the Air Training Corps. Cadet entrants spend approximately three months as “Junior Cadets” during which time they are given basic training in such subjects as The History of the RAF, Drill, Map Reading and Basic Radio Procedures.

By the time they “pass out” to join their allotted flight they are ready to participate fully in the squadron’s activities and hopefully progress through the ranks.

Some cadets go on to join the Royal Air Force or other forces. The ATC is basically a great way to meet new friends, have fun, action and adventure!
