Detatched Flight
From Air Training Corps Wiki
A Detatched Flight is too small to operate as a squadron in it's own right. A detatched flight will have between 15 and 30 cadets and will operate as a satelite of a larger squadron.
Although administratively a different type of entity to a squadron, in reality they operate in a very similar fashion. From the point of view of cadets there will be very little difference between being attached to a detatched flight or to a squadron.
[edit] Accommodation
Unlike a squadron, a detatched flight is not entitled to its own accommodation. Detatched flights will normally parade at community areas, such as schools, churches, community centres and civic centres.
