No 2 Welsh Wing consists of 22 squadrons from the North Wales area.

The Wing is led by Officer Commanding No 2 Welsh Wing ATC: Wing Commander Tim Kingman RAFVR(T), who is assisted by various Wing Staff Officers whom undertake roles within many different areas, organising Wing events over the year. </p> <p style="margin:12pt0cm;line-height:15.75pt;">The Wing Headquarters is located within the TA Barracks in Queensferry after relocation when RAF Sealand was closed. </p> <p style="margin:12pt0cm;line-height:15.75pt;">No 2 Welsh Wing belong to Wales and West Region ATC, along with five other Wings (Merseyside, No 1 Welsh, No 3 Welsh, Staffordshire, and West Mercian). </p> <p style="margin:0cm0cm0.0001pt;line-height:15.75pt;">The Regional Commandant is a Royal Air Force Reserve Group Captain, currently Gp Capt Dick Allen RAFR. </p> <p style="margin:12pt0cm;line-height:15.75pt;">Regional Headquarters are located within the Defence College of Aeronautical Engineering (DCAE) Cosford, which is the location at which most inter-wing sporting events are held. </p>
